Will this service harm my plants and landscaping?
No. While using detergents improperly may harm plants, we take several precautions and protective measures before spraying your house. These processes eliminate potential harm to your plants and surrounding landscape. This is why it’s important to hire our experienced team.
Do you have to hook up to my water source or spigot?
Yes. More than 98 percent of the time when we wash homes, we hook up to the owner’s faucet. In rare instances we can haul water to customers with our washing trailers. This is for customers that may have no water on the property or are on a very short well. We would like to mention that a house wash uses less than 1 unit of water and will only cost the homeowner a couple of dollars. The city of Toledo charges $3.38 per unit.
How long does a house wash take to complete?
The time required to clean the exterior of a home may vary, depending on many factors. The average house washing project only takes 1-2 hours to complete.
What if it rains during my scheduled appointment?
Our team will wash your house in the rain and wind. We will only need to reschedule staining projects. If there are thunderstorms or lightning, we obviously won’t be able to spray. A team member will call you to reschedule.
How often should I stain my deck?
We recommend that decks be maintained every 2-3 years. However, every deck is different depending on material, stain type, condition, and environmental surroundings. We recommend that you call us to schedule an in-person assessment when you’re ready to have your deck serviced.
Does Superior Deck and Powerwash clean windows?
No. The exterior of your windows is soaped and rinsed during the house wash. However, we do not squeegee or dry them. Ask us about our enhanced window soap if you’re looking for cleaner windows.
Do you use high pressure to clean my siding?
No. Our soft wash process allows us to clean your siding with minimal pressure while yielding the best results.
Can you wash a two story or taller house? How high can you clean?
We can clean 2-3 story homes from the ground with ease. In some instances, we can reach four stories high from the ground. Lifts can be brought in if necessary for extremely tall residential or commercial projects.
